Kaylani’s experience

  • About Kaylani

We live on a small hobby farm in northern Utah where we raise our family, livestock, and our dogs. My husband and I both worked at veterinary hospitals as vet techs for both large and small animals. We are preservation breeders, which means we breed to the Australian Shepherd standard, and do not cross our dogs with other breeds. Our goal is to continue on genetically healthy lines, as well as breeding for excellent temperament, and structure.

  • What makes Kaylani’s program special

My big thing is communication. I care a lot about my dogs and puppies, and I also care a lot about the people they go too. I want to build good, trusting relationships with our puppy families. So transparency, being open, honest and informative with you is what I work hard to be.

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

They are born and raised in our home. We have young children that interact with them daily, and we spend one in one time with them individually. We work on crate training them and get them used to positive touch by massaging their paws, ears, and muzzle. We also work on basic commands such as sit, down, and stay. We teach them to be polite at feeding time by having them wait, eat from their own bowl, and leave other food alone. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Household Desensitization, Socialized with Children, Crate Training, and Basic Obedience Commands.

 …
Puppy health practices

Our puppies get their first vaccinations and deworming medication while they are here with us. We will not send any puppies home without a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. You will also receive all health records and a list of vaccinations given to your puppy.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Puppy Starter Kit, Soft Carrier Bag, Food Starter Bag, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Vaccinations, Puppy Collar, Certificate of Health, and AKC Registration.

More about Kaylani

  • Why Kaylani started breeding

Animals have always brought joy to my life, and as I've grown older, that love has become a passion. I completed schooling as a veterinary assistant and worked at a vet clinic for two years. This gave me the core of my values for animal health and wellness, and how much genetics matter to the well-being of the animals we love. Which is why I became a breeder!
