I look forward to connecting with you!
About Barbara
It is a passion of mine to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies so that others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Whippet! I am very involved in the show world, and enjoy participating in various venues with my dogs. As a proud member of multiple breed clubs, I am committed to maintaining and improving upon an excellent pedigree.
What makes Barbara’s program special
North Star Whippets is committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that we have deemed appropriate to improving this wonderful breed. My involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. Each litter is carefully produced with a focus on temperament, health, and show quality. Once a litter is born, I carefully hand raise each puppy. When it's time, I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to, always ensuring that they go to families that are complementary to their lifestyle and personality. I want nothing more than to see each and every one of my puppies shine!
