I'm the breeder behind Oak Knoll Doodles located in Ramona, CA. Consistency in appearance, temperament and socialization are what we, at Oak Knoll Doodles of Southern California, pride ourselves on. All our parents are genetically tested. Puppies start out on the ENS training, are Vaccinated, dewormed, microchip, and vet checked before they go home.
About Darla
I have always loved dogs! A couple years ago, I started breeding Bernedoodles. They stole my heart with their goofy personalities, gentle spirit and loyal demeanor. My puppies are raised in my home and my world revolves around them! I love my dogs and the ability to share a well bred, healthy dog with my puppy families brings me so much joy!
What makes Darla’s program special
My program is top-notch! I only breed health tested dogs, while maintaining the importance of confirmation and temperament! All the puppies start off on ENS Training, start potty training at 3 1/2 weeks, are dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, come w one month free Pet Insurance and are Vet checked before they go home. I offer lifetime support to my Puppy Families!

Our puppies are exposed to ENS training Starting at day 3 thru 16. At 3 weeks old we start potty Training. By the time they go home, they are 90% potty trained to the trays/grates. At four weeks, they start going into the living room or on the patio once a day for recess. This allows them to explore new areas and toys. They are also well socialized with friends and family. I utilize the following enrichment methods: We litter train our puppies by 4 weeks which makes crate training very easy., Puppy Culture, Early socialization, surface and tactile stimulation, Scent Introduction, Noise desensitization, Potty pads,, Human Interactions , Puppy Culture , Potty Training, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, and Various sounds.
All puppies are up-to-date on their vaccines when they go home, have been vet checked, dewormed, and microchipped. We also offer free pet insurance for the first 30 days.
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Microchip, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, and Vet records.
Darla offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Darla started breeding
From 1980 to 1994, I bred AKC Dachshunds and Labradors. After taking a long break while raising my children, transitioning to Bernedoodles was a no-brainer. Their looks and personalities are like none other. You can tell I’m biased. I love the whole process, whelping the litter, raising them, and sending them off to their beautiful families.
