I'm the breeder behind Pure Gem Kennel located in Greenwich, OH. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on becoming a loving family member. If you are looking for an emotional support dog, therapy/service dog, fun competition dog, or family companion, we hope to find your next best friend.
About Dawn
I have always had a passion for animals. Throughout my lifetime, we have had birds, goats, horses, cats, and of course my favorite, dogs. In addition to teaching, I have worked at a breeding/boarding kennel for 3 years. In 2023, I purchased 2 female Labrador retrievers. I'm finally expecting my first litter around January 20, 2025.
What makes Dawn’s program special
I am new to the breeding world; however, I have 3 great mentors that I have learned and sought assistance from. I'm enrolled in Jeanette Forrey's mentorship and how to evaluate puppies classes. I health test my dogs through Embark and test eyes, elbows, cardiac, hips and patella. All of my dogs have their CGC certification and novice trick dog titles. One of my labs is a certified therapy dog.
