Every canine is a pet in our home, w/ the best veterinary care, testing, training, & educational adventures so your pup will fit in “like they’ve always been here”.

    We are a family of 4. We have all been loving & working with animals since early childhood. Kristen is an equestrian, Veterinarian, & dog trainer of 40+ years. Husband and wife, Tony and Kristen, have been raising & training Herding and Livestock Guardian dogs for their ranch for over 20 years. We enjoy studying equine & canine behavior, psychology, physiology, training, & medicine.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

Kristen has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $2,800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $250.

“We show our dogs to test for quality of structure & temperament, each puppy is priced individually based on specific qualities. The deposit is non-refundable because if you go to a different breeder, your reserved pup will have missed out on possible homes. Your deposit may transfer to another of our available pups.”

From our experience, we know age & individual appropriate protocols & training are imperative during infancy. We love setting a solid foundation by initiating house training, good manners, exposure to a variety of environments, experiences, & people. Puppy health practices

Each puppy receives daily individual interaction, stimulation & evaluations from birth. We delay vaccines to 8wks. Due to maternal protection in effect until 10-12 wks, pups cannot develop their own vaccine induced immunity until maternal immunity levels fall. Dewormed every 2wks. Every puppy has been Vet verified in excellent health, condition, no abnormalities & sound in temperament. We 💜 them!

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
