We do everything we can to socialize our puppies. We want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Sound Stimulation, Crate Training, Basic Manners, Initial House Training, Household Desensitization, Various People, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
Parents are hip and elbow certified, and Embark tested to ensure healthy puppies. They are raised in a quiet place inside our home, and when old enough are moved into the living room where they can become part of our family Puppies are wormed at 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks and at 9 weeks each puppy is given a physical, including teeth, ears, eyes, heart and a fecal count by our vet before receiving their first vaccination.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Rallhaus German Shepherds hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Kimberlie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Excellent level
Rallhaus German Shepherds reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
