I'm the breeder behind Ozark Mountain Kennel located in Conway, MO. Our puppies are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Getting a puppy from Lexi
Lexi has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,000 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Price varies based on rights associated with puppy, parents and registration. We do not give deposits back if buyer backs out of said puppy. If the puppy becomes unavailable, deposit is transferred to a different puppy or another litter. It is the buyers responsibility to read this profile and understand this before placing a deposit down.”
Contract and health guarantee
Lexi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Lexi offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Lexi directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Puppies will be well socialized before leaving. They will be introduced to kids, outside and other adult dogs. Please understand that their life as they have always known will be changed when they go to a new home so please be patient with your puppy. It takes time for them to adapt. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Car rides, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
All puppies will be UTD on shots and wormer as well as being vet checked before leaving.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Vet records, Microchip, Registration, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Breed Club Registration, and Vaccinations.
Bringing your puppy home
Lexi offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Conway, MO or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Lexi’s Basset Hound puppies include mahogany and white, red and white, lemon and white, and black brown and white. Lexi’s Bloodhound puppies are liver and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
