I'm the breeder behind Ozark Mountain Kennel located in Marshfield, MO. Our puppies are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,000 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Price varies based on rights associated with puppy, parents and registration. We do not give deposits back if buyer backs out of said puppy. If the puppy becomes unavailable, deposit is transferred to a different puppy or another litter. It is the buyers responsibility to read this profile and understand this before placing a deposit down.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Puppies will be well socialized before leaving. They will be introduced to kids, outside and other adult dogs. Please understand that their life as they have always known will be changed when they go to a new home so please be patient with your puppy. It takes time for them to adapt. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Car rides, and Various sounds.
All puppies will be UTD on shots and wormer as well as being vet checked before leaving.
We send our puppies home with Vet records, Microchip, Registration, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Breed Club Registration, and Vaccinations.
Lexi offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Lexi’s Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary by litter based on the parent dogs.

Lexi’s Basset Hound puppies include mahogany and white, red and white, lemon and white, and black brown and white. Lexi’s Bloodhound puppies are liver and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
