I'm the breeder behind RemEmber Australian Shepherds located in Central City, NE. All of my dogs are bred keeping the Australian Shepherd standard in mind. My goal is to better the breed and I am doing that by keeping my program small, competing with my dogs in multiple venues and properly socializing the puppies that I produce before they go to their new families.
About Sonya
I am an Australian Shepherd enthusiast who prides myself on being transparent and honest with my buyers. Although breeding is a full time job it is not my main source of income. Working night shift allows me to spend more time with my dogs and family during the day. My goal is to become a bigger staple in my breeds community and I'm working towards that goal every day.
What makes Sonya’s program special
My program is different than many out there. Although I take my buyers preferences into consideration in terms of gender and color; my priority is matching personalities with your family lifestyle. I provide genetic profiles and temperament tests to all of my families when they pick their puppies out. I do this with other breeders evaluations and opinions.
Sonya has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $900 - $2,000 and include a refundable deposit of $300.
“Our price does not vary based off color or gender. Full rights is only discussed with serious show homes and does not reflect the prices shown here. This deposit goes towards the overall price of the puppy. All deposits are nonrefundable but transferable to any current or future litter. I do not all anyone on my waiting list without a deposit.”
Sonya may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Sonya offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sonya directly.
I start litter box training my puppies at 2 weeks of age. I use alfalfa pellets to mock organic material like grass in anticipation to potty training outside at an early age. They are exposed to other dogs, car rides, crate training, leash training, ect. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Clicker Training, Crate Training, Litter Box Trained, conformation stacking and nail trimming, Temperament imprinting Evaluation , Avidog, Outdoors, e.g. rain, car riding , Sound Stimulation, Noise desensitized , Strangers, Household Desensitization, Chew, e.g. Bone, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, and Puppy Culture.
My puppies are checked by a licensed veterinarian prior to entering their new homes. Puppies have been dewormed biweekly up until 8 weeks of age. They go home with their first set of shots and microchipped. I provide a health guarantee on all of my puppies.
We send our puppies home with Microchip.
