Kathi has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $700 - $1,500 and include a deposit of $200.
“Our price includes license vet checking at 6wks old, born/raised in our home, microchipping, 1yr guarantee & more. If for some reason we do not do business with someone we return the deposit. If a name has been supplied by the buyer for the puppy then backs out, a $50 AKC name change fee will be kept out of the deposit.”
Kathi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kathi offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Kathi directly.
We raise our puppies indoor so they get used to the sights and sounds of normal home living. We have other dogs that the puppies get to meet that gives them an opportunity to have exposure to more than just GSDs. We handle them and get them used to wearing a collar before they leave our possession. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Car Training , Name recognition , Crate Training, and Potty Training.
All Richthofen litters go to a licensed vet at 6wks to be checked for hernias, murmurs and get their first vaccination and heartworm protection started. Our puppies must get clean bills of health before we will sell them to a client.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Richthofen German Shepherds hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Kathi offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.
