I'm the breeder behind Rockin’ Slow Farms located in Statesville, NC. Our English Springer Spaniel pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.
About Colleen
My husband and I love to get outdoors and we enjoy taking our dogs with us whenever it is possible. My husband is a retired mechanical engineer and I am a social worker. We are cognizant of how our dogs are socialized and are intentional with socializing our litters for the best success of each pup and family.
What makes Colleen’s program special
We are hands on and interact with our litters multiple times a day for up to 2 hours at a time. We initiate crate training, potty training, and simple recall. We snuggle the puppies and have friends who help us socialize the pups (all ages).

When people think breeding puppies is glamorous…show them my photo after an hour outside with 8 pups. I WAS work ready. 🤪 On another note, it’s another opportunity to “find your puppy”! They have sure grown since the first find your puppy photo a few weeks ago! Looking forward to meeting you all in person in a few short days! ✨🐶✨

This is what a puppy stampede look like! They are all rushing to get to the PAW-fact homes at the end of this week! Bitter sweet for the dog mom. ✨🐶✨ (Pay no attention the shrill voice calling for puppies. 🤭)

Can you find your pup? They are so much fun to watch as they learn how to play together and separate. They have more energy now and stay awake for longer periods of time. After a good 45-60 minutes they are ready for a good long nap. 😊

All pups are eating dry puppy food now. They nurse based upon convenience when Rosie is outside with them. You can see 2 specific things in the video: 1. Rosie is trying to get the pups interested in one of her favorite activities - Frisbee retrieval 2. Rosie is moving away from the pups to reduce the time they nurse and maybe allow them to get distracted by another pup or activity.

Playtime in the kitchen before bedtime. They loved their new toy (Amazon box). Strider (Elton John) was playing his own version of king of the hill! The pups are practicing their vocalizations and it is so funny to hear them.

Little did I know this big cuddle bed was going to be the favorite spot for the 1980s Rock Icon Litter!

A couple videos of how their coordination and playtime is progressing. Can you pick out (recognize) your pup?

Two weeks from today and these pups start heading to their FUR-ever homes. From Maryland to Across NC and last one (so far) is going to W. Virginia. They absolutely love their outside time and the nap afterward is heavenly. 😉

Bought this for the big dogs but the pups figured out there was a handle real quick!

It’s like having octuplets and trying to remember their names as they toddle about! 😂 These pups are exploring more and still love to be at my feet for attention when they are tired of exploring. The rest comes after play…for that I am thankful. 😊 Can you find your pup in the pile?
