I'm the breeder behind RVA Dachshunds located in Midlothian, VA. We offer quality, loving family pets with a focus on health and temperment. We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.
All puppies follow a schedule of Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), slowly introducing them to common stressors, as well as enrichment activities. Puppies are very well socialized, and raised with children and other pets. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Car rides, Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with children, Socialized in new places, Scent introduction, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, and Socialized with other animals.
All puppies are taken to the vet for their first puppy exam and vaccines prior to going to their new homes.
We send our puppies home with Toys, Food & treats, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Vet records, and Puppy starter kit.
