I'm the breeder behind Silver Pastori Bergamascos located in Langhorne, PA. We are passionate about the Bergamasco Sheepdog and breed to help ensure the future of these incredible, historic dogs. It is our goal to produce healthy puppies and do our part to preserve this breed. With this in mind, we consider a variety of factors when making breeding decisions, and we only breed dogs that are exemplary representations of the standard. We provide each of our dogs and puppies with the best care, and we ensure each pup that we don’t keep goes to a responsible, loving home.

Getting a puppy from Donna
Donna has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,800 - $3,000 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“All our Puppies are placed as a Family Pet, They are all the same regardless of sex and color. I work with each family individually to meet their needs, whether its for show, therapy , children other pets etc.”
Contract and health guarantee
Donna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are well-adjusted to a home environment and socialized with children and other dogs. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are Vaccinated at 9 to 10 weeks and come with a veterinarian Health Certificate .
Extras
We send our puppies home with Basic obedience & manners, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
Bringing your puppy home
Donna offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Langhorne, PA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“Every family must pick up their puppy, betwn 10-12 weeks of age. It is important that the family meet the mom and older dogs , for many it's the first time, meeting a bergamasco and experiencing the adult coat is extremely important. The puppy stage is short term, the adult bergamasco will be with you for many years.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
