What makes Sage’s program special
We focus on health and temperament. We are hands on from day one. Our dogs have OFA and genetic clearance which sets us apart from the vast majority who do not complete comprehensive OFA exams. OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certifications are a set of health screenings designed to assess the genetic health of dogs, particularly concerning hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as other hereditary conditions. These evaluations help breeders make informed decisions to improve the health and well-being of their breeding stock. By obtaining OFA certifications, breeders demonstrate their commitment to responsible breeding practices and the long-term health of their puppies, ultimately contributing to the reduction of breed-specific health issues.
Our puppies are well-adjusted and socialized with other pets, including dogs and children. We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) in their early weeks to help them develop into happy, well-rounded companions.
