Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Songbird Siberians located in Ridgefield, CT. We are a small show kennel based in Ridgefield, Connecticut and our kennel name comes from the many songbirds that live on our property. They wake us up first thing in the morning and so far have managed to evade capture by the resident predators in our yard (Siberians, of course). Keeping in the “song” theme, our dogs’ registered names are songs, albums, and other musical pieces. Our goal is to breed structurally sound Siberian Huskies that conform to the AKC breed standard, exhibit superior temperaments, and are free of hereditary diseases. Some of our favorite activities to do with our dogs are hiking, canicross, mushing, and showing in AKC conformation. This site will give you a peek into our dogs’ lives and also our lives as crazy dog people.
