I'm the breeder behind St. Lawrence Corgis located in Gouverneur, NY. Welcome to St. Lawrence Corgis! We are a family of five living on an off-grid homestead in St. Lawrence County, New York. Our rural area is home to a close-knit community of farmers, Amish, fishermen, hunters, and everyday folk. Here, amidst the serene countryside, we dedicate ourselves to raising exceptional corgi companions. At St. Lawrence Corgis, our mission is to bring Pembroke Welsh Corgis to the families of our region by staying true to the breed's traditional conformation. We avoid breeding for the exaggerated features sometimes seen in modern Corgis, focusing instead on breeding athletic, intelligent, and family-friendly dogs that uphold the classic qualities of the breed. What truly sets us apart from other breeders is our proactive approach to training. According to the ASPCA, behavioral issues are a leading reason why pets are rehomed. To prevent this and to help our puppies find permanent, lifelong homes, we provide each one with a solid foundation in house training, crate training, leash training, good manners, and basic commands. This early education ensures that our puppies grow into well-behaved and beloved family members and helps make the transition into their new homes smoother and more enjoyable for both the puppies and their new families. We are honored to share our passion for this incredible breed with you and look forward to helping you find your perfect corgi companion.
