Getting a puppy from Laura
Laura has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Payment for deposit can be by check. Balance by cash or cashier check at time of delivery unless I'm meeting you at an airport, in which case payment must be made in full 2 weeks prior to pickup. ”
Contract and health guarantee
Laura may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
I'm a very vocal person so I do make a lot of noise, bang the pots and pans, bring people over to the house to visit often, and sometimes I'll take them to stores that allow puppies. I also use the Battaglia method to socialize and that starts at about day 3 and goes throughout the whole 8 weeks they are here. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Car rides, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, and Household Desensitization.
Puppy health practices
All of my puppies get a full physical when they are 3 days old. They will also have their tails and dewclaws removed to breed standard. At about 7 weeks they go for their eye OFA Certifications with a canine Ophthalmologist and at 8 weeks they see my vet again for a full physical, first set of shots, heartworm, and deworming.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Basic obedience & manners, Vet records, Food & treats, Microchip, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
