I'm the breeder behind Starstruck Samoyeds located in Hayden, ID. Our dogs excel both in and out of the show ring. They are excellent representations of the breed and have wonderful temperaments. We breed in order to preserve the wonderful attributes we found in our dogs. Because of our dedication to both the health and quality of the breed, it's our goal to pass these traits down to future generations.

A lifelong teacher, I retired from full time teaching, but still work in the school system part-time.
What makes Darlene’s program special
The most important thing for me is producing healthy, happy, confident, well-adjusted puppies who make wonderful family members for life. I believe in doing my utmost diligence in utilizing all the heath testing available to produce puppies that will be healthy, long lived companions.

Getting a puppy from Darlene
Darlene has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $3,200 - $3,500 and include a refundable deposit of $300.
“Before the puppies go to their new homes, they will have had their rear dewclaws removed by my vet (at 2-3 days old), they will be microchipped, dewormed, had their first set of shots and a wellness exam by my vet, and be registered by the AKC. I ask a $300 deposit toward the purchase price to hold a puppy. It is completely refundable if I end up not havin.”

Darlene may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
The puppies are raised inside my home so they are exposed to sounds like vacuums, television, music, doorbells, etc. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Touch, pets, and kisses are encouraged during human socialization., Puppy temperament evaluation , Potty training and crate training begins around 4 to 5 weeks of age., Car Training , Puppy Culture , Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are dewormed, have had their first set of shots and a wellness exam by my vet.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
Bringing your puppy home
Darlene offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Hayden, ID or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.

Darlene’s Samoyed puppies include white and biscuit, cream, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
