About Ellie
Ellie is our youngest mama. She likes to play jokes with us and loves to work. Ellie is silly; she likes to start a wrestling match with her sisters and then break it up when she thinks they are playing too rough. She has shown a strong predisposition to being sensitive to how her people feel, so she has been trained as a medical alert service dog. Ellie has passed multiple public access training and tests - including airports and flights. Her favorite toy is a pink hedgehog (don't tell her she has several that we rotate when one gets too dirty!). Ellie gave birth to her first litter July 23, 2024. She has taken to motherhood as naturally as she did to service training. Her intelligence and temprament makes her a perfect addition to our program. She is a black and white parti F1B standard goldendoodle and was born January 21, 2022. She weighs 62 pounds.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
