Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Tatties Ranch located in Escudilla Bonita, NM. Our Anatolian Shepherds and Komondor have experience working with goats, sheep, horses, rabbits, chickens and turkeys. We breed by AKC standards and health test all of our dogs. We have lovely Newfoundlands that bless our house with their companionship, stud available in summer 2025.

Marlena’s experience

  • About Marlena

I am Marlena, and in 2020 my husband and I started our homesteading dream in Arizona. We started small, with two Anatolian puppies. Our pack has continued to grow as we gained more experience and have added goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits and a horse to our homestead. Our goal is self-sustainability while mentoring those new to homesteading or interested in animal husbandry.

  • What makes Marlena’s program special

We incorporate breed standards as a guide in our breeding program. We health test and breed only the best working lines with several generation pedigrees available.
