Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind The Corgi Flavored Dogs located in Bakersfield, CA. My dogs are AKC certified and genetically tested to ensure happy and healthy pups. I breed for temperament, health, quality, and the betterment of the Corgi breed standard. Each puppy is greatly loved by me! I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics, and I take pride in our breeding program.

Yadira’s experience

  • About Yadira

I am a California photographer by trade and a dog breeder by love. I love dogs of all breeds, but Pembroke Welsh Corgis definitely have my whole heart. They are my passion, and I can't imagine spending life without them. I am dedicated to achieving excellence and to producing healthy family pets. I am always working to further my education so that I can continue to improve my breeding program as well as share my knowledge with others!

  • What makes Yadira’s program special

I am very passionate about my dogs and puppies and that shows through in every aspect of my program. Each dog is genetically tested, I pay special attention to their temperament, and take extra care to ensure the well-being of each and every dog. My dogs are, first and foremost, family. Because of this, I take special care to ensure that each puppy is placed in a quality home where they will thrive and be deeply loved.

More about Yadira

  • Why Yadira started breeding

I was looking for a high-quality breeder who offered transparency, care, and education, and I found that breeders of this caliber are small in numbers. So I decided to build a program based on these qualities! I see the best vets in my area, have the best breeders in the country as my mentors, and base my practices on thorough up-to-date research! I am so thrilled to have all of these wonderful specialists in my corner and I am proud of the program I've built with their help. Most of all, I have a deep and dear love for my litters and their families. Each dog and puppy is special and I put my time and energy into ensuring they get the love and attention they deserve.
