Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind The Lucky Doodle located in Mont Belvieu, TX. Our dogs are bred for agility and health. Their fur is also easy to maintain. By combining the Sheepadoodle and the Goldendoodle, you get loyalty, agility, and health from both sides. As an added bonus, you also get the Sheepadoodle goofiness! They have been so loved by their new families!

Loralee’s experience

  • About Loralee

I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up raising a variety of animals and loved every minute of it. I now am married and have 5 children. I feel it’s so important for kids to be raised with animals because of the love, comfort, responsibility, and laughs that these animals bring to our lives.

  • What makes Loralee’s program special

We are VERY aware of mom’s health as she’s pregnant, delivering, nursing, etc. We know that nutrition, especially during these times, is so important. Because of this our puppies never drop weight, and are always happy! Once puppies are born, we start early stimulation with them from day 1. They go home potty trained and prepared in numerous ways to thrive within their forever families.

Every day we introduce new toys. We have a variety of people come and play with the puppies so that they comfortable with numerous people of various ages. They get small field trips. We also go on daily walks. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Early Neurological Stimulation, Noise Desensitization, Human Interactions, Outdoors, Leash and Collar Training, Initial House Training, Puppy Culture, Bella & Baxter Training, Chew, e.g. Bone, Touch Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Socialized with Children.

 …
Puppy health practices

We try not to take our puppies to the vet too early, because we don’t want to introduce any illness or disease to them. When they’re about 6 weeks old, we take them in to get looked at. At home, we start deworming at 4 weeks old and continue every two weeks. By 8 weeks old, they are vaccinated with their first round of puppy shots and given a clean bill of health before going home between 8-10 weeks old.

Extras

Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While The Lucky Doodle hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
