We have been working on getting some health testing done, these 5 had their BAER hearing tests redone and submitted to OFA, all are full +/+ hearing. They all have Embark for breeders DNA panels done and are all Clear, I submitted all of these guys Hyperuricosuria (hua or lua), & DM results to OFA today. Both of our older males have a AKC DNA swab being processed, we have our OFA Eye appointment on March 7th, (had to reschedule) then we will be working on our OFA Hips. I also plan to do the OFA DNA Data bank, but haven't scheduled that yet. We expect Sunflower & Pixel to have their next seasons sometime between May & June.

All four of our older dalmatians have already completed embark for breeders panels, BAER all full hearing, and Hyperuricosuria tests. Our 2 younger ones have completed BAER both full hearing, Hyperuricosuria, and have a Embark for breeders DNA panel pending completion. In February we have an eye appointment set for Osiris, Merit, Pixel & Sunflower. BAER needs to be redone for me to submit to OFA in march 2025. After that hips will be done a little at a time. Our next planned pairing is Osiris & Pixel around May or June 2025.

Why Caitlyn started breeding
I've loved dalmatians since I was five years old, I got my first dalmatian when I was about 25 years old. And he passed away from a blockage caused by stones and crystals when he was only 8 months old. That caused me to be unsure if I ever wanted another dalmatian again, but with research and reading every chance I got I learned about genetics and LUA dalmatians. LUA is extremely important to me.
