Meet the breeder
I'm the breeder behind Wardrum located in Cheyenne, WY. Our dogs excel both in and out of the show ring. They are excellent representations of the breed and have wonderful temperaments. We take great care planning each litter to ensure we are producing puppies that are exemplary representations of the breed. It is our passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the Lakeland Terrier.

About JO-LYNN
I have been breeding and showing Lakeland Terriers since 1978 under the Wardrum prefix. We have finished many conformation champions and titled Lakelands in several performance venues. I actively show in both conformation, earthdog, barnhunt and canine scentwork. As a retired educator, I thoroughly enjoy working with my Lakelands on many levels. I also serve as the Public Education Coordinator and Corresponding Secretary for the United States Lakeland Terrier Club.
What makes JO-LYNN’s program special
I raise my puppies using the Puppy Culture protocols. My puppy packets for new owners contain information on every facet of raising a new puppy. I will always take back any dog I have bred and/or assist in rehoming should family circumstance make this option necessary. Most all of my puppy owners have become lifelong friends. I offer support for the lifetime of the Lakeland they purchase from me.

Getting a puppy from JO-LYNN
JO-LYNN has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,500 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“The price includes, AKC registrations, health guarantee, microchip, vet check, first vaccinations and worming, and grooming. Puppies destined for companion homes are the same price.”

JO-LYNN may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are well adjusted to a home environment and socialized to children and other dogs of many different breeds. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Car Rides, Various Surfaces , Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Elderly, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, Car Training , We shorten nails weekly and groom often to desensitize your puppy in these situations, Sit Command, Leash Walking, "No" Biting or Chewing, Clicker Training, Crate Training, and Potty Training.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are vaccinated and examined by a vet before going to their new homes.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Toys, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Certificate of Health, and AKC Registration.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

As a preservation breeder, I consider breeding the best Lakelands possible who are not only structurally and temperamentally sound, but who are also capable of performing the work for which they were bred. A well bred, beautiful Lakeland (or any purbred for that matter), is a sight to behold.

Parent health testing
Lakeland Terrier
Excellent level
Wardrum reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Lakeland Terriers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
