About Emily
Hey All! Welcome, my name is Emily, I'm a newport RI native- born and raised. For as long as i can remember dogs have been the biggest passion. I wasn't allowed to have a dog growing up so i was a total nerd and learned everything i could about pretty much every breed there is out there. It's often a game our family plays. - What kind of dog is that?
What makes Emily’s program special
Puppies are brought into the world meticulously planned. Parent dogs are purposely paired not only based off complimentary genetics and pedigrees but for their personality, temperment, energy and drive as well. Our dogs are raised in house and under foot- puppies included. This gives puppies a jump start on desensitization to all the sights, sounds and smells of our house. We have 5 kids and are a very active family. Rest assured your puppy will be pretty bomb proof by the time it comes home. The most important and foundational pillar of what sets our program apart is ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) - introducing pups to minor stressors in order to help them work through stress in a healthy way. This is how we help set pups and familes up for success, by providing the puppies with their own set of tools they can tap into later in life that will help them work through stress, uncomfortable situations and new situations with ease. It is a highly unrealistic to bubble wrap our puppies and expect them to take on the world without reactivity. Here they learn to work through early and in a healthy way. Success starts with the breeder.

Our puppies are raised in house and underfoot, they are desensitized to all common household sights sounds and smells. They have been evaluated weekly based off ENS assessments- how they work through stress. They have been exposed to outdoor time, this helps them see the outside world as a fun place where they experience different sights sounds and smells in the safety of our back yard. In house we work on Potty training at 4 weeks of age and introduction to crate training at 6 weeks. We have 5 wildlings (children) chickens and rabbits- lets say they are rather bomb proof by the time they go home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, exposure to natural elements, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , Confidence Building, weekly baths, intro to dremel, weekly nail trims with a dremel, problem solving skills, Puppy temperament evaluation , Noise desensitization, Puppy Culture , Clicker Training, Crate Training, and Potty Training.
All puppies are dewormed every 2 weeks, upon going home they receive age appropriate vaccinations and vet checks. Paperwork provided.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.

Why Emily started breeding
I ALWAYS knew i wanted to work with dogs. I just never knew the direction i would end up in, at first i got into rescue, rehabilitation and training. I spent years rescuing dogs off death row, setting them up for success then find them amazing second chance homes. I knew early on that "you are a product of your environment" and had most the dogs i came across on death row had been set up for success from the start, then their lives would have been drastically different.
