I'm the breeder behind Windraider Kennel located in Keene, CA. We breed and show our dogs out of a love for and dedication to the protection and betterment of the breed. Our dogs shine both in and out of the show ring. We are dedicated to improving our lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.
About Kathryn
My husband, Al, and I have been showing & breeding dogs over the past 48 years. We started with Labrador, added Flat Coats, moved onto Bernese Mtn Dogs, had Cardigan Welsh Corgis for awhile then Bernese only for 20 years. We downsized to Miniature American Shepherds. Our last Bernese died 6 months ago.
What makes Kathryn’s program special
We start with good quality dogs, structure & tempermament. Any dogs we plan to breed have all clearances. The puppies are raised in our house with all our other dogs, held & loved on several times a day.
