Certified Good Dog breeders ensure their puppies are healthy and ready for their new homes. Puppies receive the appropriate vaccinations and are dewormed or have a clear fecal exam before they leave. While Woodland Kennel hasn’t shared details about their specific health practices yet, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about how they care for their puppies.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, and Registration.

Maxx’s father, FC/AFC Watermark’s The Boss, was one of the most sought-after Stud Dogs of his time. Boss made the National Derby list with 22 points. He has qualified for 4 Nationals (open and amateur). Maxx’s mother’s lineage is equally impressive. It’s no surprise to see multi-championship winners like FC AFC AFTCH Money Talk II, FC FTCH AFTCH Seaside One To Many, and FC AFC Dare To Dream in the bitch line.

Ginger is a sweet, good-looking 65-pound chocolate Labrador retriever bitch who has a great balance of drive and biddability. One look at Ginger's pedigree will reveal an exceptional bloodline that has proven itself in both Amateur and Open Field Trials. Ginger's father, FC AFC Choco Likity-Split, at just 22 months, he made the derby list. At 2.2 years of age he became QAA and went on to obtain his FC and AFC titles shortly thereafter. On the bitch side, her mother was a Master Hunter (MH) and came from one of the hottest producing chocolate studs FC Nan-Dool Elwood Blues, bred to Rebel Ridge Jamaican Me Crazy MH is one of the most consistent performing chocolate bitches in hunt test.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Profile, DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
