Getting a puppy from Meagan

Meagan has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,500 - $4,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“The listed price includes limited (Pet) AKC registration. Full AKC is available to approved show homes only, and for show potential puppies only, for an additional $500. The non-refundable $500 deposit holds your puppy until it is ready to go home at 8-12 weeks old, and is applied towards the total purchase price of the puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are handled and socialized daily. They are introduced to car trips, grooming, paw and ear handling, teeth inspections, basic obedience commands, and are exposed to walking on various surfaces. They are introduced to older dogs, larger dogs, and cats. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Introduction to cats, socailized with other dogs, adults, Noises, Noise desensitization, Car Training, Grooming Desensitization, Potty Pads, Basic Manners, Human Interactions, Name Recognition, Various Surfaces, Birds, Early Socialization, Basic Obedience Commands, Sit Command, and "No" Biting or Chewing.

Puppy health practices

All of our puppies receive a health check from the vet, are dewormed several times, vaccinated appropriately for their age and weight, and microchipped prior to adoption. Each puppy also receives a full EMBARK panel before it goes home.

    I got my first Pomeranian in 2015, and through my search for her, I realized that there aren't enough ethical and responsible breeders available. I wanted to provide a safe and high-quality adoption experience for responsible families who are looking for a new Pomeranian family member.

    Meagan was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2021.

    Meagan’s Pomeranian puppies include tri-colored, chocolate merle, blue merle, blue and tan, blue, chocolate and tan, chocolate, wolf sable, black, black and tan, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Yates Pomeranians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pomeranians.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
