Meet the breeder

I'm Tisha L., the breeder behind JT Bostons located in Corsicana, TX. We're a family of breeders located in Tx & OK. Our dogs are our beloved kids!!. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Boston Terrier breeders. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. We genetically health guarantee pups.

Q. & A. with Tisha

  • Why did you start breeding?

I used to show standard Boston's then fell in love with colored ones. It is a family business. My grandparents and great-grandparents started raising Boston Terriers. Our family has been breeding ever since. I was raised on a dairy farm and cattle ranch so breeding & taking care of animals comes naturally to me. My job is to bring joy to every fur family.
  • What makes your program special?

All my breeding dogs are completely OFA CHIC certified and DNA clear to ensure the HEALTH OF PUPPIES! All of my puppies receive NeoPar at 4 weeks & 1st 5-way combo vaccination at 7 weeks. I deworm to ensure proper protocol on parasite prevention. I realize nothing is 100% but I go above to ensure all precautions are taken. My partner and I strive to produce the best.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, lilac, blue, black and white, seal brindle and white, seal and white, brindle and white, and black brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I am new to Gooddog.com, and signed up for notifications to help me find a new puppy. I received a notification about Tisha with JT Bostons having a new litter coming available, and I contacted her. She responded immediately, and I was impressed with her knowledge, responsiveness and the care she demonstrates for her puppys and their new families. I requested one of her puppies through Gooddog, including using the gooddog payment system, and was pleased with how straightforward and secure it was. Tisha also sent me weekly updates and videos with plenty of images and interactions. I think the thing that impressed me most was that the puppies weren't aggressive or timid or anxious at all - which I think is entirely about Tisha and how she raises her puppys, socializes them, early training, etc. She really cares and it really shows. I am so grateful for Tisha and so happy with Moose.

Tisha is now my furever fur friend!! So knowledgeable when it comes to her breed of dogs, all of them. She’s so passionate and caring about her animals and those looking for a sweet pup. She had delivered our 2 precious Bostons yesterday along with a bag of goodies for each and great info for the new parents! One of the best things is being able to contact her with any questions or concerns no matter how big or small. A lot of times a breeder doesn’t offer much help once a puppy is in its furever home. If you are looking to add a four legged furry family member please at least give Tisha a call because she will always steer you in the right direction!!

I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I said goodbye to my beloved Boston Terrier “Gus” who’d been my faithful companion for 15 wonderful years. He’s irreplaceable, but when I was ready for a new family member, this wonderful woman “Tisha” made it happen. She’s incredibly attentive, genuinely passionate about her dogs’ well-being, and goes above and beyond to ensure they’re loved and healthy. If you’re looking for a pup from a caring home, she’s the real deal. Thank you!

We just received our new babies and it’s been a delight. They are beautiful little babies and have already brought such joy to our home. Tisha has been incredibly helpful and supportive, with all her knowledge and advice. They arrived with a lovely bag of information and an assortment of toys, blankets, food and a whole bunch of treats. We couldn’t be happier. We are over the moon!

Tisha was very responsive and helpful. She helped us pick out the perfect pup for our family. I wanted a snugglier, calmer and smaller female, she sent us options of different colors and even provided estimated weight for each just so that we can make best decision. After we made our choice, she sent us weekly videos of her and continued to answer my random questions. She delivered our pup the day promised and has continued to assist us with all the post delivery questions. Luna our new princess- our dog is absolutely perfect. She arrived 90% potty trained. And oh so snuggly. We are absolutely in love. I can’t recommend Tisha enough.

We had a great experience with Tisha. She was very responsive & made sure to answer any of our questions or concerns. We got our baby about 2 weeks ago and we love him so much! He is so smart and good in his crate. We have only had some issues with eye boogies, but that is to be expected with allergies going around. I highly recommend working with Tisha, she does go above and beyond for the fur babies!
