Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind LoveAHeeler located in Colbert, OK. I treat my dogs and puppies just like the family they are and do everything I can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes anything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization, care and placing them in homes with wonderful families that will love them like I do. I strive to provide each of my puppies and their families with a positive experience and hope they feel they can come to me with anything!

Q. & A. with Courtney

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always been fascinated by reproduction and when I fell in love with Australian cattle dogs I decided that I wanted to get into breeding to produce cattle dogs with the best family attitude and working ability. I love planning the litters, the health care and knowing that my puppies are going to wonderful homes and that I will be kept up to date with them.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are family and are treated as such. Each litter is treated just like they're all my personal pets. I will do anything for my animals and I will do anything I can to help my puppies new families as I want them all to thrive. I aim to produce cattle dogs with the working ability they were created for while still having the loving family partner everyone looks for.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue speckled, red speckled, red mottled, blue mottled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

LoveAHeeler was very responsive and updated us about our puppy Winnie every step of the way. Courtney was amazing in how she took care of her dogs, puppies and clients. Our veterinarian was very impressed with Winnie’s portfolio listing all of her important care and immunization records from birth to pickup. They gave her an excellent bill of health and noted that Courtney was considered to be a very responsible Breeder. We will always keeping in touch with Courtney to update her on Winnie. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!!! She’s the real deal. You can trust her.
