I'm the breeder behind π New Moon Shih Tzu π located in Modesto, CA. I am a small in home breeder of AKC registered small standard Shih tzu. I only have a few litters available each year. I do not have βcheapβ puppies. My dogs come from high quality bloodlines and I breed only top-quality dogs and genetic test my dams. I take pride in my program and eager to provide families with beautiful, healthy pets! You will not find a poor quality puppy here. Come check out the difference!

Getting a puppy from Craig
Craig has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $3,500 - $6,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $1,500.
βPrice includes a $1500 non refundable deposit. Price is based on quality, champion lines, conformation & pedigree. Stated prices are for Limited Rights. Full rights available to approved breeders. The puppy you choose will be placed on hold after your deposit is received. The deposit applies to the price of your puppy, and is transferable to another litter if the sale falls through. The deposit is Non-refundable.β

Craig may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with children, Various sounds, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, and Car rides.
Puppy health practices
All puppies leave with age appropriate vaccinations and puppy starter kit.

We send our puppies home with Basic obedience & manners, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Toys, Food & treats, and Puppy Starter Kit.
Bringing your puppy home
Craig offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Modesto, CA or nearby
If youβre nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If youβre far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
