About Jodi
My husband and I rescued an Akita mix over 15 years ago. We were so impressed with her that we decided to get a purebred Akita as a companion for her. And ever since then we've been in love with this amazingly wonderful breed.
What makes Jodi’s program special
We probably have the only Akitas here in Hawaii that are champion line and also health tested in Hawaii. They also have excellent temperaments.

Why Jodi started breeding
When our girl passed away we looked for another Akita. But here in Hawaii it was really slim pickings. So we looked to countries nearby. And decided with the time, effort and cost it took to do this, that we'd breed ours to reintroduce a quality line Akita back to Hawaii.
