I'm the breeder behind Tharps Boston Terriers located in Chichester, NH. Health and temperament are our first concern. Parents are tested before they are bred. Puppies get tested as well before they go home and are microchipped also.

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Puppies sleep by my bed and they are handled every day. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Crate Training, Potty Training, Household Desensitization, and Touch Desensitization.

Puppy health practices

The first visit to the vet is to remove dewclaws, then they go to get their 1st set of shots and their Health Certificate. Puppies get wormed at 4 weeks, 6 weeks after that puppies are worm-free.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Registration, Vet records, Food & treats, and Microchip.

Bringing your puppy home

Pick up your puppy in Chichester, NH or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Tracheal Hypoplasia, Spine (OFA, FCI), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
