I'm the breeder behind Able Elite Canines located in Huntsville, AL. Our dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. They make excellent hunting companions and family pets. Our dogs are outstanding hunting companions, and we are proud to continue their line. We breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.

Getting a puppy from Dr Gregg
Dr Gregg has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $800 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

Contract and health guarantee
Dr Gregg may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Socialization and limited training based on age. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Various sounds, Socialized with children, Socialized in new places, Socialized with Other Animals, and Obedience training started.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are current on vaccinations when picked up. They've all been examined by a licensed veterinarian and started on heart worm prevention before going home.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Vet records, and Registration.
Bringing your puppy home
Dr Gregg offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Huntsville, AL or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Suzy AKA Miss Pistol Annie is also a proven field dog more of the upland variety. She loves to put quail and pheasants in the air and then retrieve if the gunner does his job. She is also a great family pet.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
