I'm the breeder behind Akasha Wind located in Indiana. We proudly call ourselves preservation breeders and maintain the highest expectations for ourselves as such. Our dogs and puppies are excellent representations of their breed, health tested (OFA and genetic), and loved. Quality temperament, structure, socialization, and health are the principal components of our success as reputable breeders. We strongly believe in matching each puppy to each approved family to ensure the best fit.
About Frederick
I started training dogs when I was 14-years of age (I'm now in my mid 40s). My first dog successfully competed in Utility level obedience and won many trophies. I have been involved in the dog world ever since. I have professionally trained puppy classes, agility classes, and obedience classes. I have also competed and won many awards in obedience, agility, and conformation over the years.
What makes Frederick’s program special
We work with original overseas bloodlines in order to maintain the cherished and defining characteristics of our breeds. We will never compromise the quality of the dogs we produce through poor, questionable, or unethical breeding practices. Our primary goal is breed preservation.

When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“This price includes AKC registration, puppy culture raising, Embark genetic testing, eye screenings, microchipping, first vaccinations, temperament and structural evaluations. We also utilize our expertise as well as data to ensure a puppy is matched with the forever family's goals of dog ownership. Finally, we offer a lifetime of support for families purchasing from us. All puppies in a litter are the same price. Our deposit is actually a "holding fee". This fee is non-refundable and will only be accepted once a buyer is approved through our personal application process and interview.”
Frederick may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Frederick offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Frederick directly.
Certified Good Dog Breeders put a lot of care into raising well-rounded puppies, often focusing on early training and socialization with children and other animals. “We don't currently ship puppies, but we would be willing to meet at an airport to transfer the puppy or an additional fee of $500. This type of agreement would need to be agreed upon before the a holding fee is placed on a puppy. ”
Why Frederick started breeding
I don't breed often. A breeding is only done to continue preserving my chosen breeds and allow approved families the opportunity to own a correct example of their chosen breed.
