    We strive for the best temperaments. We health test eyes, hips, dna, 2 yr health warranty and lifetime breeder support. Our puppies are all raised on the Biosensor Program/Early Neurological stimulation which has proven to help raise healthy well tempered pups. We believe in breeding for health & temperament above all and not just for blue eyes like others as we believe any eye color is gorgeous

Getting a puppy from Venessa

Venessa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $400.

“Our toys are dual registered ASDR & AKC Miniature American Shepherds our puppies comes with a wellness exam, current vaccines, microchips, and a puppy package. Deposits are non refundable but are transferable up to two years. Deposits are accepted after questionnaire has been approved and after puppies are a week old to hold your pick of litter.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well adjusted to socialization and different home environments. Puppies are around children of all ages, cats, other dogs, tortoises, and adults. We introduce puppies to different sounds and different stimuli. Puppies are also 90% potty trained on organic dye free mulch. When you take your puppy home they will recognize their potty are wherever you place the mulch we use for them! I utilize the following enrichment methods: Car rides, Various sounds, Daily handling, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Puppies are handled from birth. As they age, they will be introduced to cats, other dogs, children, other adults, and other sights and sounds. We also work with them on basic manners and commands. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Basic Obedience Commands, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Other Animals, Potty training, crate training, Crate Training, Potty pads,, Basic manners, We introduce collar and leash training., early scent stimulation from days 3-16, also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Temperament imprinting Evaluation , Car Rides, Outdoors, e.g. rain, crate training, Various Surfaces , Strangers, Toys, e.g. Ball, Grooming Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, Pack Socialization, We intrudce them to gates and stairs and shallow water and riding in a vehicle. , Human Interactions, outside potty training , Puppy temperament evaluation , We introduce collar and leash training, Initial House Training, Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, surface and tactile stimulation, Human Interactions , Puppy Manners, Name recognition , Biosensor Training, and Potty Training.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are dewormed at 2,4,6 & 8 weeks of age, vaccines up to date administered by a licensed veterinarian as well as a wellness exam performed prior to puppy leaving for their new homes. We will give puppies vaccines at 8 weeks and be under observation for any adverse reactions from the vaccines. Puppies may leave at 9 weeks of age which gives us plenty of time to observe for any allergies.

    My eldest female named Amy started Alpine Tails, being a magnificent example of the breed. She’s got everything from conformation with a beautiful set of ears and amazing calm sweet temperament. She is the foundation of our breeding program and she has helped us learn and grow with each litter she produced and now she helps us socialize puppies from our other of age breeding females.
