I'm the breeder behind Apricity Poodles located in Hanover Township, PA. We are a small in-home breeder of AKK registered Standard Poodles. Our primary focus is on the health, temperament, and conformation of our Poodles. We take great care in raising our beautiful puppies and preparing them for their future families! They are raised with Early Neurologic Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, and Puppy Culture protocols. Before placement, puppies are temperament tested and leave us with a 2 year genetic health and 1 year hip guarantee.
About Christina
I am a life-long animal lover! I grew up with cats, birds, pocket pets, a German Shepherd mix, and a Dalmatian. As an adult, I acquired my first Standard Poodle while working as a certified veterinary technician. I fell in love with the breed and haven’t looked back since!
What makes Christina’s program special
All dogs used in our program health tested above OFA CHIC breed requirements with wonderful temperaments. Our puppies are raised with ENS, ESI, and Puppy Culture protocols. Additionally, we strive to give our dogs and puppies the best lives possible! From food, grooming, and housing to veterinary care, they receive only the best.
We socialize our puppies with other dogs in our program along with children and adults. We play many recordings over the first 8 weeks to acclimate the puppies to different sounds, voices, and vibrations. We follow Puppy Culture protocols and use Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, we start crate/potty training, Puppy Culture , Adventure Box, Leash Training, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Fireworks , Various Surfaces , Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Children, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
All puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age with a fecal check. Our puppies receive their first NeoPar vaccine, first Dhpp vaccine, and first physical exam by a licensed veterinarian before leaving us no earlier than 8 weeks of age.
