Getting a puppy from Heather

Heather has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Home raised puppies, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Temperament Testing, Litter Trained, Crate Training in progress, Genetic Health Warranty, No Questions Asked Return Policy. A Non-Refundable Reservation fee is required to reserve puppy.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies have completed their Early Neurological Stimulation as well as socialization with adults, children and other pets. They have also completed their temperament evaluations and are currently completing their puppy obedience training and crate training as well. They are litter box trained and go home with resources to make this a smooth transition. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Potty training on real grass and dirt, Select friends and family, household pets, television, radio, appliances, scenarios in home for confidence building. , And showed lots of love, Exposure to poultry, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Early stages of crate training, Temperament imprinting Evaluation , Car Rides, Outdoors, e.g. rain, Noise desensitized , Fireworks , Various Surfaces , Noises , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Scents, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, exposure to agility tunnel, wobble board and other novel items, also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Texture stimulation, and exposure to retrieving in wet muddy places (Labradors).

Puppy health practices

All puppies have been de-wormed at 2,4,6,8 weeks and will continue will recommended de-worming until go home day. Puppies have also received their appropriate DAPP vaccines. If puppies remain with us beyond 10 weeks, they will receive their 2nd round of vaccines as well. Puppies have received a Clear Vet Check as well.

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Early Neurological Stimulation, Sound and texture enrichment, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Certificate of Health, Puppy Collar, Puppy Leash, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Microchip, and Food Starter Bag.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
