I'm the breeder behind Ashland Labradors located in Ashland City, TN. Over the years I have been active in many different areas of the dog world from hunt tests, obedience, agility and conformation shows. I have held dog training classes for the public, worked as a field hunt test trainer, vet technician, and ran a Labrador rescue organization for a number of years here in Middle Tennessee.
About Teresa
I’ve been involved in dog sports all my life. My parents raised and bred GSDs and Dachshunds. As an adult, I began my own breeding program with Labradors in 1984 and also competing in several different AKC venues including conformation, obedience, and hunt tests. I have been involved in local rescue, have previously worked in the veterinary field, held training classes and groups for our community.
What makes Teresa’s program special
Having the most popular breed, our dedication is making sure to preserve the correct Labrador temperament along with other important attributes and characteristics. Labradors are being heavily overbred, but we take great pride in educating people about the breed and any breed-related issues.
