About Alicia
Bear Lake Bearded Retrievers are raised in our home in a beautiful valley in northern Utah on the shore of Bear Lake. Our home is surrounded by gorgeous mountains, clean air, and the breathtaking waters of the "Caribbean of the Rockies".
What makes Alicia’s program special
I breed Bearded Retrievers, which is an offshoot of Goldendoodle that places top priority on health testing, temperament, and structure. Our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture and at 3 days old, the puppies begin their Early Neurological Stimulation to help them grow into stronger and more resilient adults.

The puppies spend their first day of life relaxing and bonding with their mother, their human family, and each other. They all get lots of love. At 3 days old, the puppies begin their Early Neurological Stimulation to help them grow into stronger and more resilient adults. After about two weeks of doing ENS, their eyes are opening. Now we are starting potty training by surrounding their bed with puppy pads. Within a couple days, the puppies will start to move off the bed to eliminate. The litter box is introduced at the end of this week. At 3 weeks old, the puppies are beginning to use the litter box pretty consistently. They have their first meal of goat's milk and mush. They begin to take interest in toys. They meet new friends and see new places! Crate training begins at 4 weeks old. The puppies enjoy playing with each other. We start practicing stacking and basic obedience skills, like sit and down by five weeks old. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Early Neurological Stimulation, Potty Training, Litter Box, Crate Training, Basic Obedience Skills, Leash Walking, "No" Biting or Chewing, Clicker Training, Socialized with Children, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, and Puppy Culture.
My puppies will be examine by a veterinarian, vaccinated by a veterinarian, dewormed, and mictochipped before they go home.
We send our puppies home with Embark DNA testing is included with every puppy. We can see what genes they carry for size and shedding when I match puppies up with families..
