I'm the breeder behind Bella Luna Old Time Scotch Collies located in Hebron, NH. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Anne
Why did you start breeding?
I happened on Scotch Collies because of other friends having them and have fallen in love with these dogs.
What makes your program special?
I have started with my stud, Finley (Lanz Hollow Franklin) who is clear of embark tested genetic issues and DM. Also his Penn Hips are good at 0.31 bilaterally. My hope is to breed him to my clear female , Pippa (Mountain Wave Amaranth) once she reaches 2 years of age and gets her hips done. She comes from a strong farm collie line out of Germany.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
