Certified Breeder of Bernedoodles and Aussiedoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Bella Ridge Farms & Dapper Doodles located in Bend, OR. We raise our litters in home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies. It's our #1 goal to raise exceptional, good tempered puppies that make a difference. We believe that personality and traits are developed in the first months of a dogs life so we to make the most of this time.

Q. & A. with Dorrie

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started out just looking for a family dog. We got Mowgli, our first Bernedoodle. Working with him set the ball in motion. Raising a son with disabilities, I saw a need for service, mobility and companion dogs. Dogs that not only have great temperaments and dogs that have a desire to learn to assist but dogs that shed less and have a build more suitable for mobility and service...read more...
  • What makes your program special?

Our pups are socialized from day 1, as soon as their little eyes and ears are open, we expose them to the sights, smells, and sounds we see & hear daily. This brings awareness and builds confidence. Once pups are mobile, we begin litter training & crate exposure. This helps with the transition to their new homes. We work to provide each puppy with fundamental basics for the best start in life.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Aussiedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, black phantom, black and white, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
