Getting a puppy from Kerri

Kerri has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,500 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“My papillons vary depending on age, show or pet quality and come with a written health guarantee and a spay /neuter contract if sold as companion pets. I do not accept a deposit until I know I have something to offer and after the puppies have been vet checked at 8 weeks of age. Deposits may be refundable depending on circumstances.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

We love and nurture our precious babies from the time they are whelped. They are handled on a daily basis. The puppies are whelped in my bedroom and raised in our home, They have interaction with the the pack and our family and friends. My Papillons are spoiled members of the family and are not raised in kennels. We puppy-pad and litter box train the puppies. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Early Neurological Stimulation, Potty training, crate training, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Household Desensitization, and Touch Desensitization.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are vet checked and evaluated at 8 weeks for show, and are current on shots and worming.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Certificate of Health, Vaccinations, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Food Starter Bag, and AKC Registration.

Bringing your puppy home

Kerri offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Pick up your puppy in Portland, OR or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

“You must come to our home to pick up your new puppy, you can drive here or you may fly to PDX and I will meet you at the airport or your welcome to come to my home. I will also consider a pet nanny to fly the puppy to you. ”

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (NAD), Papillon Type

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
