My dogs are not only champions in the ring but in the hearts of their forever families! My puppies are raised in a family environment, started in potty training and well socialized.

About Mayda
I grow up in the Dominican Republic, I became a Jr. Handler and started to show dogs in 1976, I started to breed in English Cockers in 1978. I study Veterinary Medicine, and Graphic Design. I Love My dogs.
What makes Mayda’s program special
I health test and care deeply for my dogs. I make sure each puppy gets proper and individual attention, and they are socialized with other dogs of different ages and people in different situations. I breed healthy puppies that will excel in their lives

Price
Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $3,500 and include a deposit of $500.
“The price include AKC registration, First vaccinations and deworming. The deposits on puppies are non refundable after 30 days.”

What's included
Enrichment and socialization
We do not own a kennel; our babies are whelped and raised in a family environment. They are socialized, potty trained in their first stages and ready to join their new family. They learn to swim in our pool, and we constantly play with them. . I utilize the following enrichment methods: We introduce collar and leash training, Early socialization, surface and tactile stimulation, Human Interactions , Name recognition , Initial House Training, Various Surfaces , and Sound Stimulation.
Puppy health practices
Our Puppies are dewormed and vaccinated before they go to their new homes. Health tests are done to their parents prior to breeding and in some cases to the puppies before they are placed.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Puppy Toys, pee-pee pad potty training, Vaccinations, Blanket with Littermates Scent, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Puppy Collar, Puppy Leash, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, AKC Registration, and Microchip.

Why Mayda started breeding
I started showing in 1976 having my first litter in 1978. In 1983 I was presenting at the world dog show in Spain with my own puppies. I was mentored by Angelita de Lopez with whom I became partner at age 14. I grow up being a top Jr. Handler under the training of Mr. Eddie Beard, and presenting my own breed dogs. Since 1976 the English Cockers have my heart.

Mayda was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2021.
Mayda’s program includes seven colors
Mayda’s English Cocker Spaniel puppies include blue roan and tan, red, orange and white, black and white, blue roan, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Adult Onset Neuropathy (AON), Familial Nephropathy, Cocker Spaniel Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
