I'm the breeder behind BellaRosa Legacy Goldens located in Olympia, WA.
Q. & A. with Donna
Why did you start breeding?
My family responsibly bred dogs during my childhood but I was also passionately involved in rescue I saw first hand that what we needed was more ppl on the front lines willing to report these bad breeders. I had the honor to have met Cesar Milan and was impressed by his teams absolute devotion in placing each dog with the right human. I knew I could do this with every puppy and so I changed my entire program we needed to change how early we began training.
What makes your program special?
We focus on early access bonding with each puppy and owner by at least wk 3 We spend hours daily doing touch, sound, scent and fear mitigation training, plus early start on potty and leash training. By including our parents and training THEM we find we raise a more stable secure dog who lacks most if not all of the seperation anxiety disorders that are associated with other less inclusive programs
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

These dogs are already reserved or have gone home.
