I'm the breeder behind Bellissimo Shelties located in Idaho. The puppies and dogs are all held and loved from day 1. Each puppy is raised in our home. Our dogs are health tested and champion bloodlines. I show as well. I raise dogs with my whole heart.
Q. & A. with Chrissy
Why did you start breeding?
To me Shelties are the best dog breed. They are very intelligent, cuddly sweet, adventurous, extremely loyal and have quite the expressive personality. I see people’s faces light up when they see my dogs. Shelties will bring miles of smiles and that happiness should be shared so Bellissimo Shelties was born.
What makes your program special?
Each Bellissimo pup is held, loved and cared for from Day 1. They experience grooming such as brushing, clipping nails, and bathing. They are socialized and have experienced a variety of life’s daily noises. They get plenty of exercise and eat premium Nutrisource puppy food.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan, black and white, sable and white, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
