I'm the breeder behind Best Friend Bostons located in Brookville, OH. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter, Terrier Type (CHG), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We found Alissa Woosley from Best Friend Bostons on the Good Dog site when we were looking for a puppy this spring. Alissa was a dream to work with. She helped us choose which of the five puppies in the April litter would be best suited for us. Once we chose Bella girl 2 we named her Mia Bella. Alissa sent us weekly updates, photos and videos of the progress of the litter and Mia specifically. Alissa was kind enough to keep Mia an extra week until we returned from our family vacation. Alissa met us in a northern suburb of Cincinnati with our new puppy and a big bag of toys, food, and helpful information. If you're looking for a beautiful Boston Terrier baby, you can't do any better than with Alissa. We had an excellent experience working with her.
