Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Best Little Aussies located in Granbury, TX. I carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible. We strive to raise dogs of sound mind and healthy bodies. We do more testing than almost anyone out there including OFA's, Genetic testing, and prove our dogs in the show ring and in performance.

Ashley’s experience

  • About Ashley

I have a masters degree in animal science and an extensive background in equine reproduction. I fell in love with this wonderful breed and used them on the ranch to help with cattle, then started showing conformation. My knowledge of the equine world carried over to the dogs and the same science-based pairing of individual dogs to attain the best phenotype and genotype has led to our success.

  • What makes Ashley’s program special

2021 ASDR Breeder of the Year. Our experience with this breed sets us apart. In 20 years we have produced multiple generations of proven conformation and disposition. Our dogs are stable in body and mind and make wonderful additions to the family.
