I'm the breeder behind Biewers von Lamel located in Shirley, MA. My goals are good health, soundness in structure, as well as elegant type through diverse pedigrees. All of my breeding dogs are DNA profiled, health tested and enrolled in the UC Davis Genetic Diversity Study. I believe in transparency and cooperative breeding with the principles of population genetics.

Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my first show dog, a Lhasa Apso, in 1991. I became interested in the Biewer in 2012 and have been active in Biewer clubs and forums ever since.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue tan and white and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Kidney Disease (UPCR), Brucellosis, Legg-Calve-Perthes (OFA), Standard Veterinary Blood Panel
