I'm the breeder behind Big Rock Goldens located in Sammamish, WA. Thanks for your interest in our golden retrievers! We are a very small, family breeder located just outside of Seattle, WA near Lake Sammamish. We are a family with three young, energetic kids and our sweet goldens. We love our goldens—they are our pets first and forever! We are committed to raising healthy family companions who have a calm and friendly temperament.
Q. & A. with Susan
Why did you start breeding?
With a lifelong love of dogs and recognition of the need for healthy, well-tempered puppies, we decided to give it a try a few years ago. We quickly realized how much joy it brought to our family to raise the pups and felt the fulfillment of bringing the unconditional love of a golden into the homes of other local families.
What makes your program special?
We raise each of our puppies right in the heart of our home with plenty of kisses and cuddles every day. We welcome adoptive families for regular puppy visits from the time they are two weeks old to begin the bonding process early and give each puppy the best possible start! Once they turn eight weeks they go home with a care package and ongoing family support (as well as our health warranty!).
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
